2 p.m. | Ceremony at Hall County Courthouse
Businesses and the community are invited to a special Remembrance Ceremony outside the Hall County Courthouse on April 30 at 2 p.m.
This tribute will include:
Hall County Commissioner Gary Quandt will take to the courthouse balcony at noon on April 28 and remain there until the end of the ceremony on April 30 as a tribute and fundraiser for the Hall County Warriors Memorial, honoring service members from 1975 to the present.
11 a.m. – Church bells across Grand Island will ring in unison to honor the fallen and our surviving veterans.
12 p.m. – Seven Nebraska Army National Guard soldiers will carry flags from Veterans Club Park to the courthouse in memory of the seven local Vietnam veterans killed in action.
