Grand Island's 2nd Annual Kite Festival will be held on the soccer fields at the Veteran's Athletic Complex. Bring your own kite, buy a kit there or just come to watch professional kite fliers maneuver kites of unbelievable shapes and sizes. Food and beverages are available from on site vendors. While there, engage in some of the other activities, like Bol Races, candy grabs and more! Fun for all ages. The Grand Island Kite Festival is sponsored by Friends of the Park, with proceeds going to support the gardens in Grand Island parks. Admission (CASH ONLY) Adults - $5 School Aged Children - $3 Families - $15 Children under 5 and adults over 65 - Free.
